    According to the test results, the general nature of the fault can be divided into the following categories:

    1. Low resistance fault or short circuit fault

    2. Disconnection fault

    3. Flashover failure

Such failures occur mostly during the preventive trials, the failure to measure the pulse current mode of direct flash method.

    4. High resistance fault

    Insulation resistance between a number of core or core cable insulation resistance or the core and the core is lower than normal but higher than 200W, this situation is not very high fault resistance, not on the DC voltage is applied to the use of pulsed current mode of operation measuring the impact of flashover.
